Abstract EN

This research paper highlights the general concepts of Pragmati, the new science of human communication, whose core study is about the language phenomena and its users; the speaker, the listener and the speech act.

Pragmatics encompasses the speech act theory namely the Truth and False theory from the West and the science of Arabic rhetoric.

Our study focuses on the influential “Miftah al-Ulum” (the key to sciences) by the rhetorician, Al-Sakkaki in which he studied the speech acts especially the context, the interfered intent of the speaker and its transmission to the listener.
