English Abstract
Biological diversity refers to the variation of organic organisms derived from all sources, including terrestrial, marine, aquatic and environmental ecosystems that are part of it.
Biodiversity consists of diversity within species, between species, and ecosystems.
Biological diversity is of great value and importance, which requires conservation, sustainable investment and the sharing of benefits arising from its genetic resources.
Iraq is rich in ecosystems, habitats and diverse habitats, but these resources are subject to enormous and influential challenges that cause their degradation.
