Terrorism is the use of illegitimate and deliberate use of violence against individuals and properties to create a state of fear and panic in order to achieve certain political goals or aims.

The types of terrorism, include: political assassinations, explosions in public places, explosion of airplanes, destruction of strategic infrastructure, politically motivated kidnapping of certain individuals, and general acts of air, sea and electronic piracy.

The factors that motivate terrorism, include: political, religious, racial, social and cultural factors.
