Abstract EN
As a result of the lack of sources for modern Kurdish history, especially in the Ottoman era in Kurdistan 1514-1923, the Kurdish press, which launched its time by the issuance of the Kurdistan newspaper (1898-1902), represents one of the most reliable sources in writing the history of the Kurds during that period.
It has saved a lot of Kurdish attitudes of events otherwise would have lost a lot of Kurdish history as it had before that period.
