Abstract EN

Present research is aimed to recognize the impact of the use of active learning strategies on academic achievement, and achievement motivation among students of the University of Dohuk Faculty of Educational Sciences/ School of Education and Psychology in order to methods teaching.

The researcher depends on experimental method on this study, and the population of this study was from the third stage of students from university of Duhok between the years 2014-2015.

And the researcher was chosen the sample from department of Education and Psychology from the purpose of study.

And the researcher was randomly divided this sample in to two samples experimental group which is include (42) students, this group was learned according to the active learning strategies.

And the other one was control group included (40) students which was learned the method according to the usual lecture.

To achieve the aims of this research, the researcher used and developed two tools first one is achievement test which is its preparation.

This test was included (24) statements.

And the second one was barometer for measuring accomplishment motivation which was included (69) statements.

After testing and applied of tools and analyzed those, the following results were appeared.

1.

There is a significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the students in the mentioned two groups: experimental and control group in the achievement test for the substance teaching methods.

2.

There is a significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between students in the mentioned two groups: experimental and control on accomplishment motivation.
