The crusade society in Al-Sham in general and in the Kingdom of Jerusalem in particular consisted of different rates which differ in their traditions and rites.
Most of the western Europeans got back to Europe after the crusade and the ones who remained formed an aristocratic elite that govern the eastern Europeans.
