Under the title “The Violence of the Western Church: The Impact of Oppressing Scientists on the Development of General Secularism”, the Iraqi researcher Amer Abd Zayd Al-Wa’eli affirms the historical era in the modem West which witnessed many incidents and turning points especially the open violence between Christian theology and secularist enlightenment.
Al-Wa’eli also strives to depict the historical scene which witnessed the Church’s opposition to the scientific revolution, the violence inflicted on scientists, and its effect on the appearance of intense secularism

Le chercheur iraquien Amer Zayd al-Waeli ecrit un article intitule «la violence de l’eglise occidentale - l’opression des savants et son effet sur revolution de la secularisation universelle».
Cette etude vise a enraciner une periode historique en Occident moderne pendant laquelle des evenements et detours constitutifs se sont produits, dont le sujet principal est la violence ouverte entre la theologie chretienne et la lumiere seculiere.
L’etude vise egalement a eclaircir le portrait historique du role de l’eglise contre la revolution scientifique et la violence pratiquee contre les savants, ainsi que son effet sur le phenomene de secularisation.
