This study discusses the employment of folk songs in alkhaleeji theatrical text during the period 1975- 2010.

The two researchers tried monitoring the mechanisms adopted by alkhaleejiauthor in employingfolk songs in the theatrical text.

By dealing with the employment of folk songs in alkhaleeji theatrical text, according to its functional aspects, represented by employing labor songs, social events songs and children’s songs.

This search might benefit those working in the field of music and theater as well as the academic institutions such as colleges and institutions of fine arts.
