Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to identify the attitude of young Saudis towards marriage preparative programs, through a descriptive study of a sample of students at King Saud University in Riyadh, the variable was measured through the development of a scale (prepared by the researcher) which commensurate with the nature of the Saudi family.

It consists of (21) sentences, and used the method of social survey of a random sample (310) male and female students at King Saud University in Riyadh.

Findings showed that young Saudis have high awareness of the importance of these pre-marriage programs.

Although the majority of respondents have no information about these programs, they emphasized the need for these programs before marriage.

Such results give a strong indication of young people>s awareness regarding the importance of these programs, and also indicate an awareness among young people of issues that fall after the marriage and the strong will to avoid them.
