Abstract EN

This research entitled "Performative Style in the Poetry of "Ibn al-Shatie" aims to highlight the role of performative tools in the structure of the poetic discourse of Ibn el-Shatie and the extent of their ability to produce the meaning and to intensify it.

This research has focused on performative tools the most commonly used in his poetry, including: the vocative, the imperative and the interrogative.

The study found that Ibn al-Shatie has relied a lot on the performative styles that brought him enormous expressive potential; Furthermore, the study also showed that these tools had put together a remarkable stylistic phenomenon by the displacement from their linguistic position.
