English Abstract
This study aims to identify the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the Palestinian issue, where Saudi Arabia is the most influential country in the Arab and Muslim worlds as for the measurement of its Islamic economic weight and consequently its Gulf weight.
Therefore, it is important to measure its attitude toward the Palestinian issue, although it is not situated within the borders of the Palestinian geography.
Since the late twenties of the twentieth century, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gave a considerable attention to the Palestinian issue and this attention increased gradually, until the Palestinian issue has become the central issue for Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi position strongly supported the Palestinian rights politically and financially, as it is the most serious country regarding the normalization of relationships with Israel; due to the Saudi Arabia Islamic religious weight as well as moderate thought.
The study consisted of in four chapters, the first chapter dealt with Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian issue in the reign of King Abdulaziz 1932-1953 AD.
The second chapter addressed Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian issue in the reign of King Saud bin Abdulaziz, 1953-1964m, and the third chapter addressed Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian issue in the reign of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz 1964-1975 AD, while the fourth chapter addressed Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian issue in the reign of King Khalid bin Abdulaziz 1975-1982 AD.
