Abstract EN

This study aims revealing of thinking skills which are the income in the eighth grade Islamic education book.

To achieve the study purpose a List of the thinking skills was built, which consists of five main sections for Thinking and eighteen sub skills.

This List was used to an lays, The study sample's content which included all the activities of the 8 th Grade Islamic education text book that include (179) activities.

The results of this study shows that get the most high percentage (67%).

Then the critical thinking skills basic thinking field in percentage of (27%).

Problem solving skills field in percentage of (0,05%), creative thinking skills (0,07%), while thinking skills field did not scored any recurrence in meta cognitive.

According to these previous results.

This study recommended of the real needs of including Meta cognitive in Islamic education book.

Also, to be able to take the analysis list benefit that we used in constructing Islamic education book, while we synthesis it.
