We wonder in the present study about the relationship between intelligence and school dropout through researching dropout pupils’ intelligence characteristics.
We also wonder about whether dropout cases have intelligence disorder what is known as pathological cognitive disharmony.Our hypothesis is as follows : Dropout Children would be described as suffering from pathological cognitive disharmony; this would appear through the gap that is expressed by means of intellectual capacities by using two tests: EPL and EDEI.R We used clinical methodology in our study by using ten (01) nineold- children cases that dropped out from school.
We did choose them on purpose by taking into consideration the age variable, dropout and intelligence average.
Our study results reveal the confirmation of our proposed hypothesis.
We found nine (9) out of 01 children were suffering from pathological cognitive disharmony beside significant problems in the ability of symbolization.
