Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the reliability estimates of the college students’ course grades in the light of the relative weights’ difference of the total score.

The study's data consisted both of the sub and final scores of the students in the first semester of the academic year 2013-2014 and the sub and final scores of the students in the first semester of the academic year 2014 -2015.

Raju formula was applied to estimate reliability of the different classes.

The results indicated that the final scores have a higher level of reliability in both semesters where reliability increases in more than half of the courses for (0.7), and there are statistically significant differences in the reliability distributions between the two semesters in favor of the first semester of the academic year 2013-2014.

The study recommended to return to the old system of evaluation in relation to scoresm which was used in the first semester of the academic year 2013-2014.
