Abstract EN

This study tries to foresee Iran’s options in the Levant and Arab Peninsula between cooperation and conflict with the regional powers, as the latter started to sense the seriousness of the sectarian moves of Iran.

The study focuses on Iran’s internal, socio-economic and political challenges, as well as the shift in the regional landscape and the rise of a new Sunni Coalition to counter Iranian influence.

Moreover it analyses the impact of the U.S.- Russian relations on the region.

The study concludes with three possible scenarios regarding the future of the region and Iran
