Abstract EN
This study aims at examining the relationship between external indebtedness and economic growth in Jordan .To this end, the impact of external indebtedness on the annual growth in per capita GDP was studied for the period 1991-2015 .The study concluded that there is no statistically significant effect of external indebtedness on economic growth This is because there is a time lag between capital projects funded through external financing and positive growth rates with a negative impact, represented by an increase in the cost of external financing
