Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the possible effect of the hearing and visual disabilities on the personality of the disabled individual in Wadmedani, City of Aljazeera.

The study sample consisted of 200 disabled (100 of hearing disabled persons and 100 of visual disabled persons) from the union of deaf and blind in the city of Wadmedani.

The sample represents 47% of the total disabled population in Wadmedani.

Data and information were collected using the Revised Eysenck's personality Questionnaire for the Sudanese environment which contained the following dimensions: Neuroticism, Psychoticism, Extra version, Lie.

The researcher found many results which supported entirely the study hypotheses.

And then, the study proposed a number of recommendations to the concerned governmental entities and for those who are in charge of the psychological and social services as well as for members of society.

The main recommendations were the importance of the coordination between all relevant authorities in order to provide integrated care for both the hearing and visual disabled persons.
