Abstract EN

This article attempts to study the problem of deterioration of many urban models in Algeria, its urban style has always been a social and cultural value, I will focus in this article on the architectural models that are unique in their form and their cultural and historical content, these models contain a distinctive human and social values which is the ancient palaces.

These construction types/styles are based on the residential principles and not on the aesthetic and artistic ones which have an artistic, architectural and cultural importance in their inhabitant's life.

Today these construction styles / types tend to be an urban ruin and decline on values which consisted all along its existance a solid base in its Distinguish it on the life level.

Here I'll refer that social and urban features and the reasons of this decline, ruin or maybe its vanish.

Therefore, I believe that adopting a policy to preserve it as a real issue for its continuation because of its roles, is very important for their inhabitants lives and preserve their social values from decline after the emergency of new life styles that are not fit with what was already existed.
