Abstract EN

In this study, we discussed the relationship of health media to the overall development and its role in achieving, it based on defining its two pivotal concepts and presenting the nature of the procedural relationship between them.

We found that the health of individuals is a necessary factor to achieve the comprehensive development of society, as these individuals are the elements of production and the cornerstone of all development processes, and that notifying this signification is mainly done through media.

Therefore, we emphasized the role of health media in raising the health level of the community members by improving their health awareness and spreading the health culture that will enhance or change the behavior of individuals, and participation in solving existing health problems.

We concluded this study by highlighting the most important challenges facing the health media in Algeria, which must be overcome so that the media can play its developmental role to the fullest.
