The comma seems to be considered by the learners of the cycles of deepening as a punctuation mark whose use remains vague.
For some learners of the middle cycle, it is necessary to take pauses (stops) both orally and in writing.
Such a conception, which proves insufficient and insignificant, will surely have repercussions on the systematic practices of the French language.
In order to improve the quality of the teaching and also the learning of French as a foreign language at the beginning of schooling, we have tried in this work to study the representations of learners of the middle cycle in relation to the use of the Comma in the sentence.
The latter are built on a long term and find the opportunity to reinforce themselves through the stereotypes encountered daily.
