This Study Aimed To Deal The Subject Of The (The Father Lament In Modern Arabic Poetry) In order to identify the literary function of this experience at both the emotional and intellectual .

The study had come after (Introduction), which included father lament, and the reasons for selecting the topic, and previous studies, and research Methodology, and restructuring care (first) the masterpiece of poets from the sorrow experience of the father lost, where they could distinguish three basic masterpiece are: the situation of sorrow and disaster, and the attitude of nostalgia and memoir, and the situation of reproach and remorse.

The main findings of this study can be previewed in details in (Conclusion)which will mention, and God blesses, guides, the right way.
