Abstract EN

It is normal that the Zionist regime rejects the calls for peace and the withdrawal from the Arabic lands that it invaded during the war in 1967, and the desire of both Egypt and Syria to erase that defeat, preparations were undergone in both countries in order to enter a new phase of war with the Zionist regime.

The war in October 1973 was considered to be a turning point in the Arabic and Zionist battle as it proved that nothing stands against the design and will of the war and that through the sole use of force, peace could still not be achieved.

As a result, the myth of the army was shattered and the confidence returned to the Arab soldiers.

While the Arabic support for their army was average and disappointing in some cases, the Zionist regime received huge support from its American allies through the supply of the latest weapons, including war planes.
