The current research aims identify: 1.University studnts attiudes toward social values.

2.Sigificance of differences in the attitudes of university students towards social values according to gender variable (Male , Female) .

Significance of differences in the attitudes of university students towards social values according to the variable of study ( Scientific , Litrary).

The current research is determined by randomly selected students from the university of Baghdad (400) students from the college of Education Ibn Al-Haytham for pure sciences and the college of Education Ibn Al-Haytham for humanities within the academic year ( 2016-2017) in order to achieve the research objectives , the research adopted the social values scale from ( Al-Jumoui, 2013), consisting of (50) paragraphs divided into four areas (self-values, religious values, moral values, values of national belonging).

The researcher extracted cytometric characteristics of the scale through the procedures of honesty and virtual presentation of the scale experts and the honesty of the construct the indicators of the power of excellence and internal consistency, As well as the stability coefficient by means of re-testing, And used the researcher in the extraction of the results of the research program statistical analysis of social sciences spss, as it reached a set of results and accordingly the researcher came with conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
