The research emphasis on identify the thinking style and locus of control for college of education students, the relation between thinking style and locus of control according to gender variable ( Male - Female), the major (Scientific- Human) , Class grade (First- grade) , a sample of population (300) male and female students , the research uses scale (Ibrahim, 2007) , to measure of thinking style and scale ( Al-Jeheshi , 2004) to measure locus of control, the validity was tested by superficial validity and reality by retesting method , in order get data treatment statically (Pearson's correlation coefficient , T- test one sample of methods, Z- Test for percentages, point biserial , T-test for correlation coefficient indication , Z-Test for the variant between two correlation coefficient ), the result shows that the most popular thinking styles for student are typical style then the oligaric style then executed style while the minimum thinking styles are the Monarchic Style then legislative style and external style, there is variant function in the locus of control for the external one , there is function variant between thinking style Executive , tydical , oligaric , Anarchic , liberal) and the locus of control for the external one, while there is no realtion between thinking styles Legislative ,Monarchic , Hierarchic, global, local, conser , external and internal) and locus of control, there is function variance according to gender variable (Male-Female) for male side and there is no function variance in major (Scientific – Human) and there function variance according to class grade variable ( First – forth) for the fourth grade side
