This research study sheds light on layouts intertextuality in the poetry of the Algerian Emir Abdelkader and tries to reveal its artistic features .

the observation and description of models from the Emir poetic texts have shown that the poet has been evoking absent texts through two intertextual layouts namely: The specific textual interaction and the general textual interaction.

Moreover, he has been giving them an opportunity to reproduce themselves within his poetic texts .Thus, the process of understanding, explaining and interpreting the implications of texts has become associated with such texts of various sources
