Abstract EN

Activating the production of knowledge, and using it in accelerating the pace of technological innovation- through the establishment of high-level technologies- and working on controlling the technical knowledge are considered as indicators that reflect the economy competitiveness, and define its position internationally.

Through this paper we try to shed some light on the reality and the prospects of these facts in the Algerian economy, and to study the most important indicators of the economy competitiveness, after a very long path of development, that has lasted for 50 years, embodying multiple programs of reforms and recovery, in order to shift toward an economy of market, and to keep pace with the market progress, locally and internationally, which requires the least of ability to compete, based on knowledge and innovation.
