Based on the Palestinian project for the UN Security Council, officially presented by the Jordanian government in 2014, to end the Israeli occupation, this research addresses the political considerations and interests that lay behind obstructing the implementation of the international law represented by the UN conventions and declarations concerning the Palestinian Israeli conflict.

The apparent contradiction between the power of the international parameters pertaining to the military occupation, colonialism, and racism on one hand, and the political will and intentions of the super players on the political arena to uphold these parameters on the other has brought about a political paralysis which led to the marginalization of implementing the international law and its resolutions in issues like the two-state solution.

An in depth-analysis of the Palestinian project to UNSC, and the positions of the players concerned: The U.S.A, Israel, and Palestinians (PA and PLO) reveals the supremacy of the political, strategic and legal interests concerning the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

This research aims to highlight the political considerations that stimulated "the bid", which was used as a sample case to prove how the political players undermine the international conventions; these conventions which are regarded as a basic tool to achieve a just solution for the Palestinian-Israeli- conflict.

The researcher concludes that the American considerations and interests are the most prominent obstacles which impede the implementation of the international laws and conventions pertaining to the Palestinian cause.
