Abstract EN

The ambiguous words & structures in Arabic grammar The terms (ambiguous) &(ambiguity) had gotten concern by the Arabic grammarians, these terms seem came from the religious thought that took their interest in the first time, and when they began studying the language this interest affected on the linguistic study ,therefor, we found the terms of tradition (Al-hadith) valuation in the linguistic and syntactic fields.

The evidence of that,they named one of tradition divisions the ambiguous tradition (Alhadith al-mubham), and determined it by (Did not know anything about its narrator except his name).

So the narratorwas ambiguity in the book and the attribution, either man or woman.

Then they took that term from Al-hadith and named many of words and structures, therfore, the ambiguous letters are ( the letters which didn’t have derivation, and didn’t have known roots, such as: Alethy, Aletheen, maa,men, an, etc.

And the ambiguous nouns are the demonstrative pronouns, whereas the ambguious adverb which isn’t determine,such as: feuq, tehet, amam, khalif..etc.

Therefore, the ambiguous nouns are demonstrative pronouns, relative pronouns, and personal pronouns.

We determined this term from their expressed, so the ambiguous in grammar is everything need an expression, clarification, and interpretation, or it is something we cannot Understand without interpretation or complement ( la yahsun alsukut alaih), or it is the common language or not specified .

They talked about these words and structures, and show accurately the reason which made it ambiguity, as we knew them.
