Abstract EN

This research aims at achieving an objective show about the social and economic role for craftsmen at Baghdad, over Al-Bouayhi period (334-447 H/945-1055).

Briefly, that period has rich outcomes for craftsmen in forming civil life and what is derived from it of economic, social, and political sides, also, this research revealed the role of this class through Al-Bouayhi reign in these sides, such as: -Their collaboration between each other to defend themselves and their crafts and products.

-Their collaboration as a one unit to determine the price of good or craft product.

-Leaving the market for one of them if he was in need to fill his need.

-Women participation in the craft role at Baghdad in that time.
