Abstract EN

The study aimed at recognizing the level of happiness among a sample of Al Balqa' applied University according to some variables from students' perspectives.

The sample of the study consisted of (193) students (105 BA, 88 Diploma).

To achieve the objective of the study, a (35) items questionnaire was developed and used to collect data and distributed on five scopes (Religious scope, social relations scope, Ambition and desire fulfillment, entertainment scope, personal desire fulfillment).

Reliability and validity were obtained for the questionnaire.

The results of the study revealed that: the happiness levels at Irbid and Ajlun university colleges was moderate.

Also, there is a significant differences (α= 0.05) between the female students responses means scores in all study domains, except the first domain (happiness connected with religion) and the fifth domain (happiness connected with personal desires fulfillment) due to (the scientific qualification) in favor of BA students.

Moreover, there is a significant differences (α= 0.05) between the female students responses means scores on the first and fifth domains due to (tuition fees payer) in favor of free tuition female students.

The researchers recommend that university administration through the student activity department should increase their meetings, seminars, workshops, training programs and brainstorming sessions to train students how to achieve their desires, personal desire and entertainment by following the modern scientific methods to increase the level of students' happiness.
