دراسة تشريحية مقارنة لنصول أوراق بعض الأنواع من العائلة السوسبية Euphorbiaceae في العراق

Abstract EN

The study deals with the anatomical characteristics of leaves lamina It is the most important mesophyll patterns of some species of Euphorbiaceae that Bifacial ,Unifacial (homogeneous and heterogeneous ) The current results confirmed that the anatomical characters showed valuable taxonomic traits which can evidently be used to distinguish between species.

The most prominent trait was mesophylla tissue in leaves which were observed in three categories; Bifacial leaves: - which found in C.tinctoria ,E.characias, E.

milii, M.annua and R.comminus Uni- facial (heterogenus) leaves: - this category of the mesophylla was detected in two species only A.telephioides and E.prostrata Uni -facial (homogenus) leaves: - this category were noticed in five species; E.denticulata ,E.helioscopia ,E,macrocarpa , E.microsphaera and E.peplus The second important comparative anatomical character was the Mid rib, which are in four types with several shapes from which discrimination between the species can be made :-Convex- concave mid rib: - that was showed in E.helioscopia, E.macrocarpa, E.milii and M.annua.

Convex- convex: - This type was found in three species C.tinctoria , E.

characias and R.

comminus, Flat-Convex: - This type of mid rib was observed in A.telephioides , E.microsphaera, E.peplus and E.prostrata and Flat –Flat:- This type was observed in only one species E.denticulata As varied degree of prominence of the mid rib between species as well as the variation in shape of epidermal cells and, surface indumentums of cells ,that promised these qualities are important taxonomic criteria to isolate and diagnose the species studied
