Abstract EN

This research highlights the school Yusufiyah in the city of Granada in Andalusia, which is known by various names such as school Nasiriyah, scientific school, school of human rights and the School of Granada; and these names were not consecutive, but concurrent labels according to their listing in the sources and historical references, which were of the most famous public schools in Andalusia, also it examines the political, economic and cultural conditions that led to the founding of the school Yusufiyah.

In addition to the definition of the school term in Andalusia and compare it with other schools in the Arab world.

Moreover, the research as wells spoke about the date of its establishment, its location and their names, and inscriptions which are still part of it is in the Archaeological Museum in the city of Granada.

The research also refers to the teachers and the disciplines that were taught at the school, the architectural planning and the changes that have taken place on them, in order to highlight its historical, scientific rank during that era which dates back to the year (738 e /, corresponding to 1337 m).
