Abstract EN

This thesis aims to recognize the relationship between the levels of using digital media by Palestinian public & knowledge levels on youth issues.

The study aims also to analyze knowledge levels of public awareness of youth issues achieved by digital media.

This study was applied on a sample of 168 researchers from Gaza governorates, the most important results of this study are as follows: -Palestinian public depends primarily on internet as a source of information with a relative weight of (6.1) , (74.7) % use Facebook.

-Palestinian public is concerned about youth issues with 84 %.

-The role of digital media in forming public knowledge on youth issues was moderately of 56% & deeply of 31.3%.

-Poverty issues came first with an average of 9.9% while unemployment issues came second with an average of 9.7%.

-The prime reason for the multiple youth problems is the Israeli occupation; the Palestinian division in 2007 came as the second reason for youth problems from the point of view of Palestinian public.
