Until recently, Israel is concerned of the declared positions of the Greek government supporting for Palestinian cause as well as Arab positions supporting Cypriots, but recent regional changes in some Arab countries helped in improving Israel's strategic environment and pays off as the Middle East has become more complicated due to Russian presence, Turkish activity, increase of terrorist attacks, militant groups and the struggle for power.

These indicatorspushed Israeli leaders to defend the Israelistrategy by moving to avoid variables that will affect constants that have been developed in the past decades,as Israel focused on perpetuating the strength of its relations with the near neighbor especially after its crisis with Turkey in 2010 on the freedom flotilla and what this relationship means for Turkey and that would motivate Turkey to show more flexibility as well as confirming the Israeli existence, expanding its vital area and work freely as long as it is close to it and to the Arab world, helping in the development of the strategic movement of military expansionism in support of its existence, as well as the discovery of energy stocks in the Mediterranean is part of the supporting indicators of Israeli attitudes toward Greece and Cyprus, which are certainly helping to stir Turkish concerns, taking in consideration the suffering of Greece from the complex economic problems that needs assistance.
