The goal of current research to know the phonological awareness skills needed for Arabic language teachers from the standpoint of teaching the Arabic language department, has formed the research sample of (47) teaching and teaching in the Faculty of Education and Arts, was the application of a questionnaire has been prepared to identify the phonological awareness skills necessary from the point of view consisting of (22) paragraph and after the necessary data analysis results indicated the degree of unnecessary phonological awareness skills and their importance Valawsat weighted items were higher than the central premise is likely amounting to (2) and the weight percentage (66.6), which refers to the degree of unnecessary these skills to students of teachers in college Education, in the light of the results has been proposed a number of recommendations, including: the need for teaching phonological awareness skills in the decisions of the methods of teaching Arabic language faculties of education and preparation of evidence for teachers explain in a detailed phonological awareness skills and give practical examples of how to teach and development from kindergarten to high school.
