The security of the Gulf is one of topics that are located in the forefront of international politics in general and policy concerns of the Gulf, especially in light of the region circuit interactions.

The security flaw in the Gulf region – till the present time - inability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) (alone) to protect itself, which made all of them find their security in alliance with the superpower countries or give military facilities for the same aim.

The research problematic and its aim Stems to explore the complex nature and the changing security environment that prevailed in the Arabian Gulf region, and then provide perceptions about how to deal with the security challenges of the GCC countries, and test the effectiveness of agreements and security measures bilateral and multilateral, regional and global in the face of the challenges faced by the region.

In an effort to prove that hypothesis (that the GCC could potentially benefit from the physical and economic potential combined in order to achieve security and political, economic and social integration, through the conclusion of a collective international conventions, bilateral in terms of determination and unity of the Gulf.)
