Iraq has seen a significant rise in average prices since 2003 to the present time because of the unstable political and economic situation in Iraq, so the request of the Iraqi Central Bank to adopt effective monetary policy to cope with the rise in prices and determine its negative effects on the economic situation in the country.
This study aimed to the possibility of the application of inflation targeting in the Iraqi economy, which suffers from a significant rise in prices.
