The right to defense is not limited to criminal issues, it also includes the administrative issues relating to the disciplinary sanctions of the disciplinary boards, Such as stopping a doctor from practicing his profession, notary or employee even if it is for a certain period.

Therefore, the concept of right to defense today has a double significance: it indicates to the group of procedures that must be respected during the disciplinary trial on the one hand, and to a group of important safeguards that are taken into consideration to achieve justice on the other.
