Abstract EN

This research sought to focus on one of the most important studies in economic geography, namely, monitoring and analyzing the monthly income and its impact on the characteristics of housing in the Bethlehem Governorate, because of the importance and great role in assessing the current reality of housing characteristics in that governorate.

This research in its methodology on quantitative analytical approach due to its relevance to the subject of the study, A number of quantitative analyzes were used in the statistical software for social sciences (SPSS), including the analysis of the single-variance analysis to test the statistical hypotheses underlying this research, as well as the correlation analysis between several factors to measure the effect of income on them, The analysis of ratios and frequencies was present in this research to quantify some variables quantitatively.

The cartographic approach was used to produce a map showing the area of study.

Therefore, the researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which are the results of the analysis of the mono-variance analysis, which confirms the existence of significant differences of statistical significance between the monthly income and housing characteristics due to the variable monthly income.

Finally, Including: the need to include housing issues within the development projects, and provide support, especially in rural communities that suffer from the deterioration of housing conditions as a logical result of the low income of families.
