Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the attitudes of teachers towards modern instructional strategies at Irbid governorate.

To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed a scale of (25) items for teachers attitudes towards modern instructional strategies.

The sample of the study consisted of (1120) teachers (448 male and 672 female) stratified randomly selected from the teacher of Irbid governorate public schools for the academic year 20152016/.

The results of the study revealed that the attitudes of teachers towards modern instructional strategies were as follows: (29%) for those who had positive attitude, (31.5%) for those who had negative attitude, (39.5%) for those who had neutral attitude.

The study also revealed that there were significant differences at (a= 0.05) for the teachers attitudes towards using modern instructional strategies due to sex and interaction between sex and experience, so there was no significant differences due to experience at (a= 0.05).

Finally, the results revealed that there were no significant differences at (a= 0.05) for teachers attitudes towards using instructional strategies due to qualification and specialization
