Abstract EN

This paper reviews the main ideas in linking foreign direct investment and financial deepening relationship economic growth, and aims to measure the impact of these two variables on economic growth in Algeria during the period 1990-2013, where the study found a weak positive effect of a financial deepening on economic growth in the long term and absence of the influence of foreign direct investment, as the model showed the existence of a bilateral relationship between the financial depth and foreign direct investment in the short term, which requires the need for employment policies to encourage financial development and improving the investment environment.
