Abstract EN

This Article displays the methodical procedure and application mechanisms of the sociological method in the Arab world.

It describes how the well-know modern critics received the theoretical knowledge of the sociological method and related it to the socialist thought; hence, most of the novelists’ works that refused colonialism had an ideological load.

Most Maghreban critics focused their work on the structural formational study of Louciane Goldman, and neglected other pioneer works; they did not spot light on the evolution of the contextual method towards a sociotextual procedure.

Only with the appearance of a call to the necessity of starting first from the text, there was then a serious consideration of the different sociological phenomena by Mohamed Benize, Said Yakthine, and Hamid Lahmidani, who used the application of the method, through the translation of Bakhtine, “Pierre Zimsh”, ‘’de cheeh’’ and others of the contemporary socio textual pioneers
