Abstract EN

The introduction of the integrated environmental management systems in the industrial projects would contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals, on the ground that these systems serve as an interconnection link between environmental legislation and the market mechanisms , as one of the most important portals that allow businesses to set priorities and increase the efficiency of utilization and reduce costs, resulting in the latter to rationalize the economic resources for industrial projects consumption.

On this basis the current study sheds light on the mechanisms of using environmental management in order to rationalize consumption of economic resources, by referring to the case of Enterprise of Cement and its Derivatives of Chlef, and the feasibility of its use of the latter in the rationalization of consumption of economic resources during the period (2000-2013).
