This paper discusses the topic of international liability for environmental damage in the light of relevant provisions of public international law.

We aim through it to clarify the effectiveness and adequacy of the system of responsibility in protecting the environment from pollution.

As a guard, which seeks to ensure respect for the law, there is no doubt that the responsibility plays an important and decisive role in the field of environmental protection, so that any protection of the environment cannot be effective unless a system of responsibility is established in order to achieve deterrence and reform at the same time.
