We try through this research to show the constitution’s role in promoting and protecting human rights and freedoms.

Human rights and freedoms inclusion in the constitution is the mainstay of fair governance, measure of legitimacy and exercise of the power.

Today, respecting rights and freedoms is an international commitment that lies with the state before the international community.

This research is divided into two parts: the first one deals with the intellectual and legal framework of the constitutional project’s commitment to include rights and freedoms in constitutions.

The second part deals with the protection assurances of human rights and freedoms.
