This paper aims to clarify the concept of the term or overall of Total Quality Management in the Institutions of higher education By projecting the requirements and principles of total quality in university institutions, And as well as the importance and the benefits of these institutions through the adoption of this term - Total Quality Management -.
In addition to units that focus by management at the university When adopting of (TQM) And that is, the inputs such as curricula, programs, faculty and students, and operations on these inputs, which led to the outputs of higher education the students and these units eventually lead to achievement of quality.
As we take a general overview of the reality of higher education in Algeria, and the degree of compliance with the implementation of total quality management, and the obstacles faced by higher education institutions in Algeria during the adoption of this concept.
