Abstract EN

This article aims to study the influence of Abd Al-Wāhid's poetic experience on Al- Zuyūdī's experience as reflected in two poems: Al-Wāhid's "In the Presence of Abd Al- Rahīm Omar" and Al-Zuyudi's "Centennial Arār".

Even though both poems seem to be elegies, they, in fact, depict a revolution against social and political reality.

Using Stylistics as an approach, this study argues that both poems represent a revolution against reality, rhythm, meaning, image, and repetition.

This study concludes that there is much similarity between the two poems and Al-Zuyūdī benefited from Abd Al- Wāhid's experience even though the former had his own unique vision and poetic modes
