This paper is devoted to study one of the most vital themes in the field of contemporary financial transactions and Islamic banking i.e.

Al-Mudarabah al-Mushtarakah, and the method which could be adopted in order to promote its practical application.

This is intended in order to provide a noticeable contribution to the field stated, especially in the view of the tremendous need for it the mean time, where the international economic crisis requires an Islamic assistance.

This paper is an applied Islamic legal study, as it concentrates on an important Islamic bank in Brunei Mu'assat Dar al-'Itiman al-Islami.

It follows a Comparative Fiqhi methodology to draw a method for developing the application of the previously mentioned contract in this bank in particular, and in Islamic banking in general.

It consists of four sections, an introduction and a conclusion
