Linguistic miraculousness of the glorious Qur'an in selecting certain nouns with reference to their realizations in English

Abstract EN

This research deals with the phenomenon of linguistic miraculousness of the Glorious Qur'an in choosing particular nouns and how such nouns are rendered into English.

This paper tackles the near-synonymous nouns in Qur'an concentrating on their related meanings as well as revealing the key differences which lead to the selection of one particular noun rather than the other.

Its significance is due to the fact that it helps in understanding Qur'anic items and showing the precision and discreteness of Qur'anic usage.

The current research aims at highlighting the phenomenon of precise choice of nouns in the Glorious Qur'an, analyzing it relying upon authentic linguistic interpretations, and uncovering its realization in English on the basis of well-known translators.

It also aims at investigating the degree of awareness in which those translators dealt with this phenomenon, and whether they realize the linguistic miraculousness behind the selection of certain nouns rather than others.
