عصمة الأنبياء بين العهد القديم و القرآن الكريم : دراسة مقارنة

Abstract EN

This study addresses the issue of infallibility & flawlessness of the prophets in both the Old Testament and the Holy Quran, this study will be only confined to the prophets who were mentioned in the Old Testament as falling into sins, and who were mentioned too in some Qur'anic texts wherein it might be misunderstood that they fell into sin; therefore, this study has examined only four prophets: Adam, Moses, Aeron, and Solomon, peace be upon them.

The study showed that the Old Testament, abuses frequently the prophets, while the prophets where honored in the Quran, and this shows that these abuses were not present in the origin of the Old Testament, but the texts where corruptly inserted since the origin of Allah’s word is one came down from the same divine source; and no contradiction can take place in the word of God although books can be different.

The study concluded that all the prophets are infallible and immune against all sins and flaws; so the abuses mentioned in the Old Testament are distortions brought about by those who wrote it; and this is what scholars call Rabbis' Turah.
